Lots of interest in Norwich Schools of Sanctuary

First Schools of Sanctuary meeting well attended

We held an information meeting for Norfolk schools interested in becoming Schools of Sanctuary on Tuesday, 7th March at Avenue Junior School.

More than 15 schools were represented at the meeting and about 30 people attended.

We are now planning a launch event to coincide with Refugee Week in June to showcase the work of the schools working towards the award.

Off the back of the meeting, the Norwich Schools of Sanctuary initiative was featured in the Eastern Daily Press.
