For teachers

Our team of educators have worked alongside our citizen research team to create a range of resources to help you mark Norfolk Welcomes.

You may just hold an assembly, or a one off lesson on a topic of interest and relevance to your pupils. You may however decide to deliver a number of lessons in the run up to Norfolk Welcomes or even have a whole day off-curriculum to explore the issues in more depth.

Whatever you do please share it with us!

Key Stage 1 – assembly, lessons and suggested activities

Key Stage 2 – assembly, lessons and suggested activities

Secondary – assembly, lessons and tutor time activities

Norfolk Welcomes is a collaborative project. Our partners The Common Lot and Anglia Ruskin University ran a citizen research project exploring Norfolk’s history as a place of sanctuary. Their findings contributed to the creation of these resources.
